Thanks for your order! Your item(s) will ship within 3-5 business days. If you choose an expedited shipping option, please beware that the 3-5 day processing time still applies although we try our best to send ALL packages out ASAP.
There will be NO EXCEPTIONS. Ownership of packages turned over to USPS transfers to the buyer. We are not responsible for lost, held, or damaged packages. We are not responsible for mis-delivery errors via carrier, or incorrect shipping info. Shipping is a service you purchase from USPS along with your order from us, so any shipping issues must be handled by USPS.
We are responsible for your new purchase until it reaches the Post Office. After that, it is out of our control and we recommend that you select USPS Priority or Express shipping service. Insurance is to protect against loss or damaged during shipping. If you choose not to buy the insurance and your purchase is lost or damaged by USPS, we cannot provide a refund. All purchases are shipped by USPS and insured through USPS.
In the case that your shipment is lost or damaged in transit; YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO FILE THE CLAIM WITH USPS.
We are not responsible for lost packages during transit! We are not responsible for shipments sent to forwarding services or companies regardless of the shipping service selected, If you place an order and your shipping address is a forwarding address you are responsible for contacting your forwarding company or service to locate your shipment.
We are also not responsible for weather-related damage or delays! Once a package leaves our hands it is completely out of our control.
Please make sure your address is correct before placing an order we will not be responsible for incorrect addresses. Packages are NOT automatically insured, if you would like to purchase insurance for your package please select USPS Priority or Express shipping service. Once again we are not responsible for the package once it transfers to USPS, it is then their responsibility to deliver and handle concerns for shipping delays or lost packages. You will not be refunded for the purchase from us if the USPS loses the package unless you purchase the additional insurance.
SHIPPING FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE: Please make sure all addresses are correct before placing your order, we will not refund shipping fees for wrong address on your part or returned shipments. We will not refund shipping fees on returns initiated by the customer or for refunds issued by us unless the customer receives a defective/damaged item or if we sent the wrong product and you decide you don’t want a replacement we will refund the shipping fee. In this case, a prepaid label will be sent to the customer for them to mail back incorrect or damaged/defective items to headquarters.
Keep an eye out for your shipping confirmation email, which will provide tracking information. USPS usually delivers packages in 3-5 business days. If you have not received your package in a reasonable amount of time or if you have received a delivery confirmation, but still do not have your package please contact your local post office with your tracking number for more information before reaching out to info@QutiesBodyBar.com

During the summer months, May 25th to September 20th a handling fee of $5 will be charged, as all orders are shipped on ice to help prevent melting. We do not formulate our products with the use of synthetic stabilizers, fillers, binders or waxes. Although we use organic beeswax in our organic body butters we do not formulate our body butters with large amounts of beeswax. This makes them prone to melting.
Why is my body butter soft and slightly melted? Is it still good?
During very warm weather, products may soften or even melt in transit as they sit in warm mail trucks, mailboxes, planes etc… Yes, your body butter is still good and will re-harden. However, if it is a whipped butter it will not become whipped unless you do so with a hand mixer.
Note: Since melting is a natural reaction to heat and we have no control over the conditions during transit or delivery, please understand that we cannot be responsible for melted products. Therefore, we cannot issue refunds simply because your products melted.
International Customers: Summer melting is especially a problem for international customers. Orders travel far distances in warm trucks and cargo holds.
What To Do About Melting
On sunny or warm days it is best to refrigerate BEFORE opening the jars. If you open items to check if melting has occurred, they may spill out and make a mess!
**Please be assured the quality and healing properties of our products are not affected by melting.**
Whipped Butters: Place it in the refrigerator. The melting will not affect the quality of the whipped butter as a great moisturizer, but the whipped consistency will change. It will become more like a body balm.
Whipping adds tiny air bubbles (just like whipping cream) that increase the size, lighten the density and change the texture, making the butter light and fluffy. If a whipped product melts, the air bubbles are collapsed, so the volume is decreased. So although the jar was filled to the top, if the butter melts, there will be less volume in the container. The container may actually look half full.
What We Are Doing To Help The Problem
During hot weather, we do our best to protect our products from melting in transit.
• We check every product before it is packed for shipping
• We have switched from shipping in envelopes to using boxes that allow more padding for cool insulation
• We wrap our delicate products in bubble wrap or another padding to add another layer of insulation
As a result, most products shipped in warm weather arrive without melting, but please understand, there is no way that we can ship products to completely control for the high heat temperatures of summer, trucks, and mailboxes.
What You Can Do As A Customer
- If you have whipped butter or body butter in your order we recommend not picking any shipping method longer than priority shipping.
- We recommend paying the extra 5 dollars to have your items shipped on ice. The fee pays for two ice pack.
- If we are out of the timeframe of summer shipping, and you live in a warmer climate we recommend buying the ice accessory so that your items are shipped on ice to prevent melting.
Returns & Exchanges
Our policy is 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
These items can not be returned or exchanged:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable products
- Some health and personal care items
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to us without prior authorization.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
- Product(s) with obvious signs of use and there is less than 1/2 of product in the bottle.
- Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

- If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
- Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift store credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift store credit will be emailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
All returned items should be shipped using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Do your containers contain BPA?
No, our containers are PET, which stands for polyethylene terephthalate, is a form of polyester (just like the clothing fabric). It never has and never will contain BPA.
Are your containers safe to be reused when the product is finished?
Yes, bottles can be reused for other purposes after being washed thoroughly.
Are your containers recyclable?
Absolutely, PET containers are recyclable and highly sustainable. They can be recovered and recycled again and again.
General Product Questions
Are your products USDA certified organic?
Most of the ingredients we use in our products are USDA certified organic.
The product descriptions mention that you use food grade ingredients, does that mean your products are safe for human consumption?
We do use food grade ingredients in our products, so nothing would happen to you, or a small child, if a small amount of product is accidentally ingested. However, we don’t recommend that you eat our products as a substitute for food.
What’s the allergy information for your products? Are they soy-free, gluten-free, vegan etc…
All allergy information can be found in the description boxes of each product’s webpage. You can also search our website by allergy i.e soy-free, gluten-free, dairy-free etc…To find the right products for you. If you have a question about a specific allergen that isn’t listed please contact us for more information. We are not medical professionals so you should consult your doctor if you think you will be allergic to one of our products.
Why is my Hot Chocolate a different color from when I ordered it last time?
One of the ingredients in our lotion is beeswax. Beeswax can range from white to a dark deep yellow. Beeswax made by bees is initially colorless and the color is altered by the amount of pollen the worker bees bring back to the hive. So the color is always different depending on how much pollen the bees add to the wax. We also, use 3 different suppliers located in different states to source our beeswax in case one supplier is sold out or doesn’t have enough inventory. Due to this, the beeswax will vary in color giving Hot Chocolate a slightly different color depending on which supplier we use for each batch.
Some of your products say they have in “Herbal Infused Oil” what does that mean?
Herbal infused oils means that dried herbs were placed in a jar, covered with an oil and left to soak so the properties of the herbs can be infused into the oil over the course of 8-12 weeks.
Why does my body butter have chunks in it and is sometimes grainy?
Our products do not contain artificial stabilizers or binders to keep the consistency of the products. So in extreme hot or cold temperatures, the body butter will melt slightly or get harder. So, our product consistencies will not always return to the intended consistency we created during the manufacturing process. This is especially a concern in the summer months with long shipping times.
Why is my lotion so greasy?
With our body butter, a little bit goes a LONG way. We wanted to create a moisturizing body butter that you didn’t need a lot to keep your skin hydrated. We intend our body butters to last our customers for a long time, even if it means they won’t purchase for awhile. So you only need a dime-sized amount when moisturizing sections of your body.
Your products are infused with real fruits, does that mean it needs to be refrigerated?
No, the manufacturing process we use to infuse the fruits in our products gives them an eight-month shelf life or longer. So your products will not go bad if they are not put in a fridge. Just store them in a cool dry place.
My products changed colors, has it gone bad?
No, your products are perfectly fine. When exposed to direct sunlight the products will begin to lighten, as it is not an artificial color. This is the only change that occurs.
Some parts of the scrub seem drier than others?
Before each use shake your scrub bottle up or mix with a spoon.
Face Mask & Scrubs
How do I mix my clay mask?
With a wooden spoon or plastic one mix one teaspoon of the mask with a half of liquid. You can add more mask or liquid depending on how thick you want your face mask to be. If you ordered our bamboo spoon with your purchase add three spoonfuls of mask with two of water.
How often should I use my face scrub?
This all depends on the type of skin you have and how sensitive it is. Old Fashion is a nonabrasive scrub and can be used every day if you desired to do so. Whereas, Black Velvet is more abrasive and we only recommend it to be used 2-3 times a week.
The Black Velvet scrub will not come off of my face with just water, what do I do?
Get a clean washcloth and soak with warm water. Squeeze out the extra water and use it to remove the extra Black Velvet that remains on your face.

Qutie’s Body Bar is committed to using safe, simple and, most importantly, the best ingredients available for purchase. All of the ingredients used to make our products are USDA certified organic, food grade and all natural. Our products do not contain petroleum based chemicals, chemical emulsifiers, chemical preservatives, propylene glycol, artificial colors, stabilizers, or synthetic fragrances.
Due to not having synthetic preservatives in our products they are not made to sit on store shelves for several months. This is why we make our products in very small batches and make to order. So you are always receiving the freshest product possible.
We do use in our products what many consider as ‘natural preservatives’ but they aren’t nearly as potent as synthetic ones. For them to do the same job you would have to use large amounts of them to be effective.
We use the following natural preservatives:
- Tea Tree oil
As a product begins to age it starts losing its defining qualities. Products with essential oils scents might gradually fade in scent, our sugar scrubs when exposed to direct sunlight the color changes, our coffee scrub gets drier etc…The moment you start using your products, whether it’s using the sugar scrub in the shower or scooping out a handful of lotion, you introduce bacteria and other contaminants.
